Brandon K. Autrey, P.E., C.F.M. is a Principal and co-founder of AMD Engineering which was started in January 2006.
Brandon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2003 while working as an intern with Hugo Reed and Associates, Inc. While at Texas Tech, Brandon was a member of the engineering honor societies of TAU Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon. He also received the Outstanding Senior award in Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University.
After graduating, Brandon joined Isbell Engineering Group, Inc. in Denton, TX. While at Isbell, Brandon worked as the Project Designer on commercial site development projects in the Sanger, TX area. He performed all portions of land development engineering for these projects including H&H study, paving and grading plans, utility planning and coordination, and plan production.
In August 2003 Brandon rejoined Hugo Reed and Associates, Inc. in Lubbock, TX and worked as an Engineer-in-Training. While at Hugo Reed, Brandon served as the Project Designer for numerous residential and commercial developments, seal coat projects, H&H studies, construction observation, and earthwork cut and fill projects.
In January 2006 Brandon co-founded AMD Engineering. Brandon currently serves as Principal and Project Manager with AMD Engineering on a wide variety of projects including: residential and commercial developments; school additions and renovations; municipal water well, water distribution and sanitary sewer plans and sanitary sewer lift stations; FEMA submittals; survey coordination; construction management; H&H studies; and earthwork cut and fill projects. Brandon also serves as the business manager and is the co-human resources director.
Brandon is currently a member of the South Plains Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the West Texas Home Builders Association and Developer’s Council. Brandon is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas and New Mexico, is a Certified Floodplain Manager, and is a licensed general contractor (GB-98) in the State of New Mexico.
A native of Texico, NM, Brandon is married to his high school sweetheart and together they have 3 children.
